The Talent Acquisition Team of HR Shared Services Center of Deloitte Middle East & Cyprus is seeking to recruit an Onboarding and Offboarding Officer, at the level of Associate, based in our Nicosia office.

The Onboarding and Offboarding Officer Role
The successful candidate’s key responsibilities include the following:
Recruitment Activities
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, CV screening, interview coordination, case study management, psychometric assessments, and more, for your designated business line.
- Collaborate with Business HR to understand role requirements, and manage job postings accordingly, including amendments and closures as needed.
- Perform initial CV screening for all CVs from various sourcing channels (e.g., career site, referrals, LinkedIn job fairs, and campus recruitment) based on job posting criteria.
- Conduct HR interviews for assigned roles, document interview results in the recruitment system, and communicate outcomes to candidates.
- Coordinate with business teams and candidates to schedule interviews, gather feedback, and update the recruitment system with outcomes.
- Assist in collecting and verifying candidate documentation for reference and background checks, aligning with DME policies, and reporting any issues to the business team and Business HR.
- Actively source and headhunt candidates through various channels, ensuring a strong pipeline of qualified talent.
Onboarding Activities
- Manage onboarding logistics for the new hires including document collection, HRIS onboarding, joining formalities, buddy & coach assignment, etc.
- Promptly update the recruitment applicant tracking system & HRIS with all the necessary details of the new joiners.
- Support the new joiners to complete the onboarding checklist and provide responses to their queries.
- Provide support to the expat new joiners with the immigration activities.
- Collect documents and information from new joiners, store them physically and electronically and share them with internal stakeholders as needed.
- Liaise with respective parties to complete joining formalities of new joiners including setting up company assets (laptop & ID card) and/or accounts.
Offboarding Activities
- Manage offboarding logistics for the leavers, ensuring offboarding compliance.
- Promptly deactivate the HRIS employee profiles on the last working day of the leaver.
- Resolve the offboarding tickets raised on ServiceNow, share a checklist with exiting employees and coordinate with other stakeholders for the required offboarding due diligence.

Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience, including HR experience, preferably in a multinational firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration or a related field.
- Knowledge of best practices in HR management is essential.
- Experience in any of these areas would be an asset: recruitment, active sourcing, immigration operations, onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Ability to communicate professionally with partners and high-level executives. Strong presentation skills considered as a plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication and time-management skills.
- Advanced level of technical proficiency and computer literacy (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English (reading, speaking, and writing).
